Pay rate: $6,282-$7,605 per mo plus exceptional benefit package
The new GIS (Engineering Support Information Systems) Analyst will join a team of nine, reporting to the Engineering Support Supervisor in the Capital Projects Division of the Engineering Department. Analysts provide professional computer programming, computer systems analysis, GIS analysis, and computer systems administration services to the Automated Mapping/CAD/GIS system. The new Analyst will focus primarily on the GIS assignments. More specifically, key duties include: develop programs/scripts for automating database queries, creating web-based data input forms, output reports, and manipulating data; perform advanced spatial queries using database and GIS software tools; perform GIS implementation project management functions including project scoping, estimating, budgeting, systems integration; design and maintain spatial data layers and databases; modeling WEB based GIS and high end RDBMS; program and implement user workflows to create and maintain spatial data.
