The Information Technology Manager (CAGIS), under administrative direction from the City Manager or his/her designee, and on behalf of the signatories to the CAGIS agreement and the CAGIS Board, manages and is responsible for the overall management of the Cincinnati Area Geographic Information System (CAGIS) section and supervises professional, technical, and clerical staff in support of this operation; leads the business development activities of CAGIS by growing existing client relationships and exploring new opportunities for applying technology solutions to local government business processes with the goal of improving inter-governmental coordination; responsible for coordination of Enterprise GIS, ensuring orderly and technically sound development and operation of the system and managing the needs of the Consortium's stakeholders. In addition to a strong technical background, applicants should have strong, proven management and leadership skills and must be customer focused with excellent communication and team building skills.

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and a Master's Degree from an accredited college in information systems, computer science, GIS, mathematics, statistics, quantitative analysis, engineering geography, geography, business administration, or related field. Additionally, must have a minimum of eight years paid professional managerial and administrative experience with a broad knowledge of geographic information systems. Managerial experience and project management experience, along with management of GIS systems, within or on behalf of local government, is strongly preferred. Must be a resident of the State of Ohio at time of appointment. Must have a valid driver's license.
