Thank you for your participation in the 2008 Annual Conference & Exposition in New Orleans, Louisiana. We hope this special speaker section of the conference website will assist you in taking care of all your necessary arrangements in preparation for attending and presenting at the conference.
Speaker Information Form
First, please take a few minutes to complete the Speaker Information Form and return to Pat Francis by faxing it to +1.847.824.6363. This form is due by July 6, 2008. Please be sure to include a brief (up to 50 words) speaker bio with your form.
Please note the section regarding Audio/Visual for your session(s). Meeting rooms will be set classroom style and will include an LCD Projector, screen, lavaliere wireless microphone, podium and head table. Contact Pat Francis , Meeting Coordinator at +1.847.824.6300 if additional Audio/Visual items are needed for your presentation. Due to the prohibitive cost of providing internet access, URISA can only consider providing internet only if it is required for your presentation. Availability will be considered on a case by case basis and is not guaranteed.
All presenters are responsible for bringing their own laptops. Computers/laptops will not be provided by URISA.
Conference Registration
Speakers are required to register for the conference. Please use the online registration system to complete your registration by August 1, 2008 to take advantage of the discounted conference rate. For more information on the conference, please visit the Conference Information Page .
Hotel Reservations
Discounted conference room rates at Sheraton New Orleans: $165 Single/Double

New This Year!: Staying in the host hotel helps URISA meet its obligations with the hotel and keep costs down. As an added benefit for staying at the Sheraton New Orleans, attendees who register through the special Annual Conference & Exposition website and complete their stay (through the entire conference) at the hotel will have their name placed in a drawing. The winner will receive complimentary registration to the 2009 Annual Conference & Exposition in Anaheim, CA as well as one free night stay at the Anaheim Marriott, 2009 Annual Conference & Exposition host hotel.
