What are examples of how much has been spent on implementations of address repository solutions?
On behalf of the URISA Board of Directors, the Address Standards Working Group (ASWG) has submitted this draft standard to the FGDC. You can read the draft standard here:

It has taken us five years, countless hours, lots of outreach, and many comments and observations to get to this point. What do you think? Will you be able to immediately use the standard?

The City of Charlotte is working on a body of GIS standards that will go through a formal adoption process. We have conducted research on GIS standards as part of this effort to ensure alignment with state and federal standards. What a task!
To date, the following standards have been developed and adopted:
Anybody have suggestions for people to contact to help with resume development? One of your fellow members has a resume that needs a lot of help.
We have an opening for a GIS Analyst. Can anyone point me in the right direction to obtain some type of Aptitude testing for the applicants? Also, interview questions? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Michael Turner

GIS Therapy!
That is the phrase that one of the attendees of the URISA Leadership Academy just used to explain what the ULA program is all about.
I guess it's true. The attendees are all GIS folks who all have GIS problems to deal with... and at the ULA they get to commisserate and learn about solutions.
I think I might use "GIS Therapy" in marketing pieces for future ULAs...
Received the best testimonial the other day about why you should attend the URISA Leadership Academy from Craig Barraclough:
"I felt that the ULA truly authenticated the change in mentality from being a general worker to a true geospatial professional, or leader. It really boosted a change in attitude for me."
