Georgia URISA is 2007 Outstanding Chapter of the Year!

Newest Organizing Chapter - Caribbean URISA Chapter

URISA has more than two dozen state, provincial, and regional chapters many of which have active sections serving major metropolitan areas. URISA has a sister association in Australia (Spatial Sciences Institute - formerly AURISA) and cooperative relationships with a number of affiliated organizations.

Chapter meetings, workshops, conferences, and social events occur regularly throughout the United States and Canada.

Starting or supporting a local URISA chapter allows individuals to experience the benefits of URISA even more regularly! URISA chapters benefit the geographic areas they serve by helping local professionals meet the needs of area residents. The URISA Chapter Relations Committee helps Chapters get started and improve their operations.
