URISA Publications

The URISA Board recognizes the importance of relevant publications and the role they play in our educational mission.  Through the Association's newsletter, conference proceedings, the URISA Journal, a series of special publications, and on-line resources, we are actively seeking to serve URISA members and nonmembers who use URISA materials.

URISA members receive the following publications as part of their membership benefits:

• URISA Journal - The Journal, contains reports of current research; reports and reviews of system applications; and reviews relating to the design, implementation and evaluation of information systems for federal, state, provincial, regional, and municipal governments. The peer-reviewed Journal is the flagship publication of URISA International and is published two to four times per year.
• URISA News - Every other month, URISA members receive an issue of URISA News. This newsletter keeps members informed of the latest developments and industry news along with updates on association activities.
• URISA Digest - Twice a month, URISA distributes the Digest to its members. This is an informal electronic newsletter containing announcements, reminders, and various pieces of news.
• URISA Marketplace - URISA members have access to comprehensive listings of GIS & IT job openings via the electronic Marketplace.
