All categories of membership are pro-rated for the first year, based on join date.

Individual membership categories:

• Professional: Individual professional membership.
• Young Professional: This membership is valid for members, age 35 or under, and is limited to no more than five consecutive years of YP membership.
• Student: Full-time students (applies to only those students who are currently enrolled as graduate students and have 9 credit hours or more or are undergrads and have 12 credit hours or more of courses).

Organizational membership categories:

• Government Agency: Simplified membership for government agencies at any level — national/federal, tribal, state/provincial, regional, county, city and town. A Government Agency membership includes membership for two individual members. Additional members may be added at a reduced fee.
• Educational Institution: Includes individual membership benefits for two faculty members and up to ten (10) students, with further discounts for an unlimited number of student members.

Partners: This membership category is designed for solutions providers of all types and sizes. Levels of partnership (from Platinum to Start-Up/Small Business) are designed to accommodate a wide range of budgets and resources. A GPN partnership provides an abundance of marketing and promotional benefits for companies interested in connecting with the influential audience.
