URISA Announces Election Results

URISA is pleased to announce the results of its 2024 URISA Board of Directors’ election. Wendy Peloquin will serve in the position of President-Elect and Jami Dennis, Yves Léger, and Sara Taylor will serve as Directors. They will all begin their three-year terms at the conclusion of GIS-Pro 2024 in Portland, Maine. Wendy Peloquin, GISP, LAVM - Business Development Manager, Avineon, Inc., Jacksonville, Florida Wendy will serve as President-Elect for one year and her term as President will begin at the conclusion of GIS-Pro 2025 in Denver, Colorado. "It is an honor to be selected by my peers to serve as URISA's next President-Elect. As URISA continues to grow and support geospatial professionals, I am committed to continuing to carry out the organization's vision and strategic goals. The next few years will be exciting as URISA develops new educational programs and continues to raise awareness and strengthen the profession." Newly elected URISA Directors:

Last year, John Nolte was elected by the membership as President-Elect and he will begin his term as President of URISA at the conclusion of GIS-Pro 2024.
